Yoga for veterans helps men and women who have served to relieve stress, find peace, deal with PTSD, and maintain optimal fitness with physical posture, breathing and meditation techniques, which have demonstrated improved mental health, sleep and quality of life outcomes for Veterans suffering from PTSD.
My name is Chanda Woodall, I have served in the Army NG for 5+ years in the medical series. I joined to help heal, to spread my yoga practice to my fellow soldiers, and to learn first hand how I can help others through giving back. For the past few years I have provided yoga to my unit during PT, the response has been very positive and has helped in many ways for our company. I decided to offer this class based on the results I have been seeing first hand from my fellow battle buddies at Charlie Company, so please join me 11/11/23 for a flow to thank those that give so much to this country.

*Each class ends with a crystal sound meditation during shavasana.
